A Huffington Post headline calls Oregon a "progressive paradise." Yeah, right, that's why blacks are fleeing, that's why a jury of Oregonians let the Bundys free, that's why housing prices are fastest rising in country and why Portland is becoming a white techie suburb of the Bay area. This myth started with the bottle bill. Washington always has been more progressive than Oregon with its racist roots.
