Christmas

Never been big on this holiday as an  adult. Single, spend it in a bar. Not, go along for the ride. But I like Woody Guthrie's vision of Jesus: "he said to the rich, give your goods to the poor." Fat chance.

Institutional Christianity has a terrible track record. I'm not impressed.

But there's nice music and pretty lights. Berrigan brothers and Central American nuns. Dorothy Day.
