There's a zillion theories about why and how Trump got elected but it's depressingly obvious why: millions of my fellow citizens prefer his ignorant loud-mouthed lying sexist racist conniving manipulative egomaniacal undisciplined bullshit to the other choices on the ballot. Q.E.D.
